Scottish Business Pledge

The Scottish Business Pledge is a partnership between Government and business and represents a shared ambition of boosting productivity, competitiveness, sustainable employment, and workforce engagement and development. At the start of Living Wage Week, and as the Scottish Government announces that the living wage will rise to £8.75, we're proud to have been one of the first legal firms to sign up to the Pledge, which now has the public endorsement of over 400 companies across the country. You can find details of how to offer your support and make your own pledge here.

Leading firm, Commercial Litigation - Legal 500 2017

We are delighted that Legal 500 have again today ranked us as one of the country's leading commercial litigation firms. They comment:

"Commercial litigation boutique Halliday Campbell WS advises on contentious issues arising from various types of commercial agreements, including joint venture and consumer credit agreements. It also manages disputes associated with breaches of directors’ duties, shareholder actions and corporate governance. Other areas of strength include contentious insolvency, IP/IT and property. David Halliday and assistant Lynn McMahon are both Signet-accredited specialists in commercial litigation. Notwithstanding its size, the team is frequently instructed in high-value cases for clients active in sectors such as construction, retail and telecommunications."
